A farm-life workshop for children from ages 5-10, July 9th thru the 13th. Children will work hands on with our counselors to learn how to care for the wide variety of animals in our program such as ponies, donkeys, alpaca, cows, goats, cats, chickens and more. Fun activities with our animals include pony rides, bathing donkeys, collecting eggs and more!
The hands-on workshop includes age appropriate nature inspired activities that take advantage of our beautiful and expansive farm setting. The workshop includes exploring pond and stream ecology, flower and vegetable gardening as well as building bird and butterfly houses to better understand their role in nature.
The workshop is 9:30 to 2:30pm. Participants are asked to bring lunch, water bottle, weather appropriate clothing, sneakers, hat and sunglasses. Please download the registration form at registration form.
