A Sad Good-bye to our Sweet Will

Sadly on November 5th we had to say good-bye to our sweet Will. The cancer like bacteria that was infecting his hoof overcame him. We tried for several weeks to cure the infection with different treatments, but unfortunately nothing was working. Will was in a lot pain and very uncomfortable, so the decision was made to put him down.

If you read our posts regularly then you know his story, if not please scroll through our posts to read about his incredible journey. We are just grateful that he lived the last year and half of his short life surrounded by love and being well taken care of.

Rest in peace Will, you are missed everyday and we know that your story will inspire people to speak up when they see something that is not right.  And hopefully inspire animal owners to take better care of their animals or ask for help when they need it.

In the state of New Jersey to report animal abuse or neglect please contact your local animal control agency or call the local police. New Jersey is working towards making the laws and penalties against those who commit abuse, cruelty or neglect to animals much tougher. The state of California now has the toughest laws and penalties against those who commit crimes against animals. For all other states, please contact your local SPCA or animal control agency.

  1. So very sorry for your loss, it’s never easy for us to lose a loved one. It makes me sick to see what people do to their animals. I am fostering a couple of wonderful horses with a local rescue that I love. They had been kept at another supposed rescue but came to me emaciated with parasites and a huge hoof crack.
